 When you think about what you want your children to learn at church, what’s the first thing that pops into your mind? We’ve all been there. With so much truth in the Bible where do we start? Why not start where the Bible starts. No, not necessarily creation, but GOD.

Who is God? What is God like? What does God do?

The "What is God Like?" Bible lesson series is the answer to those questions and more. This curriculum series is our flagship series for 2023 and will be released over the course of the school year in 7 units of 6-weeks each. You can order units individually, or save $62 by pre-ordering the full series. If you choose to preorder, you will receive an email as units are released.

Through this series of 42 lessons, we’ll be introducing children to fullness of God’s character one attribute at a time. Most churched children will tell you that God created the world, or He rescues His people, or even that Jesus came to earth to rescue God’s people, but the goal of these lessons is for them to begin to know more of who He is and what it means to worship Him for who He is.

But, also through these lessons, the secondary goal is that children answer the other two questions;
(1) who is man in light of who God is and
(2) what did Jesus do?

As children learn of God’s holiness for example, they’ll be confronted with their own sinfulness and the way that Jesus reconciled a holy God to sinful man on the cross. Week after week, children will see the bigness of God and see how they can truly know God through Jesus.

These lessons are in-depth theology for kids – in simple language
