In unit 1 children are introduced to the storyline of the Bible and learn how the first 15 books of the Old Testament fit into that storyline. In this unit children will begin to see how their favorite Old Testament narratives join together to form one Big story of God's great salvation.

In unit 2 as you move through Nehemiah to Micah, children will come to understand sin and the prophets call for repentance, as well as see the prophecies of the coming Messiah. Each week they'll begin to develop a bigger picture of God and His plan to rescue His people.

In unit 3 children will cover the books of Habakkuk to Philippians. In the first few lessons, children will be reminded of the prophet's call for repentance at the end of the Old Testament, and then they will dive into the New Testament to see Jesus as the fulfillment of all the Old Testament prophesies.

In unit 4 children will learn of the teaching to the church and the promise of Christ's return in the second half of the New Testament. Unit 4 also features review lessons to tie the whole series back together and help children remember that the Bible is one BIG story of God's salvation of His people through Jesus.
