Unit 1 – God’s Creation & His Promise (Lessons 1-6)
In Unit 1, children will be introduced to God as the Creator, understanding that the Bible is one big story about God rescuing His people. Preschoolers will learn about the creation story, the fall of man, and God’s covenant with Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.

Lesson Highlights:

• One Big Story: The Bible is God’s Word and one big story about God rescuing His people.

• In the Beginning: God made the world.

• Sin Came In: Sin is disobeying God.

• Destruction and Promise: Noah and the Ark—God promised to rescue His people.

• God’s Big Promise: God calls Abraham and establishes a covenant.

• God’s Big Family: The patriarchs from Abraham to Joseph—God is always in control.

Unit 2 – God’s Faithfulness (Lessons 7-13)
Unit 2 highlights the faithfulness of God despite His people's disobedience, moving through the story of Moses, Israel’s time in the Promised Land, and the long wait for the Messiah. Preschoolers will learn how God faithfully led His people and promised a Savior.

• I AM Who I AM: God introduces Himself to Moses.

• A Sign and a Rescue: The first Passover and Exodus.

• God’s Good Place: Israel conquers Jericho.

• Life in God’s Place: David defeats Goliath.

Unit 3 – Jesus’ Birth and Early Ministry (Lessons 14-20)

The final unit focuses on Jesus’ death and resurrection, and the birth of the church. Preschoolers will see that Jesus is the Savior who died for our sins and rose again to give us new life.

• On the Cross: Jesus’ arrest, trials, and death.

• Confused: The disciples’ confusion after Jesus’ death.

• Alive Again: The resurrection of Jesus.

• Look in the Book: Jesus shows the disciples how the Bible points to Him.

• Start of the Church: The day of Pentecost and the first church.

• Letters About Jesus: The New Testament letters.

• End/Beginning: The hope we have in the coming King.
