78 Gospel Conversation Starters + Video (download only)

After years in children's ministry, one of my favorite Bible passages to encourage me in teaching children and to build up parents in their role is Psalm 78. In this Psalm we see the generational impact of teaching the truth of the Bible. Parents (and by default other adults in the church; like children's ministry leaders) are called to proclaim and not hide the truth of God from children and grand children and the generation not yet born.

 Here are a few verses from Psalm 78 (verses 5-7):
He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments; 

 We know this is our high calling, but sometimes we wonder how to do it in the midst of everything else going on around us? So, in honor of Psalm 78, here are 78 ideas of how you can share the gospel in everyday moments. You'll find suggestions of games or activities that could be done at home or church, by parents or teachers. You'll find activities that can supplement lessons or family devotions. You'll find conversation starters for family outiungs or field trips. And you may even find a idea or two for new activities to use on quiet afternoons at home.
